What is a Home Inspection
A Home Inspection is a non-invasive, visual examination of a residential dwelling, which is designed to identify and report any observed material defects within specific components of said dwelling. Components may include any combination of mechanical, structural, electrical, plumbing, or other essential systems or portions of the home.
Why Schedule a Home Inspection
Buying a home is a huge investment and probably the most expensive one you will ever make, this is no time to take risk with that decision. Its a time for you to take charge and become informed and understand the home, its systems and components before the purchase takes place. To do this you will need lots of information, some guideance and direction, as your inspector I will take you thru the stressful process of evaluating your home to assure its a safe and comfortable living environment before you make the final decision.
Whats Involved in a Home Inspection
First and foremost a Home Inspection is alot of work, it requires the knowledge and understanding of complex and diverse systems in a home. Inspection of these systems and components can require the use of special equipment to assist me in testing of component conditions. But your most important asset will be me, your Inspector someone who is trained and posesses the knowledge and understanding of these systems, someone who can describe and evaluate conditions that are present or may lead to a major defect or safety hazzard are my Top Priorities. In general homes will have normal wear and maintenance conditions that exist and may need updates to correct an issue. These type of defects are concerns and will be reported and documented with photos, describing any such conditions that exist during your complete home inspection. For more information see What's Inspected.
Choosing the Right Inspector
Its important to know all Inspectors are not alike, nor will inspect the same.
Inspectors have varying methods and capabilities of inspecting, some Inspectors won't walk roofs, climb into attics, crawl around in crawlspaces. You can rest assured unless a safety concern arises, I will walk roofs, climb in attics and enter crawlspaces because getting dirty is just a part of the complete home inspection effort you deserve. But above all what really matters is knowing you have chosen a highly trained and professional inspector, I will give to you that high level of confidence you deserve by focusing my complete effort, care and consideration entirely on you, to service your needs during and after my inspection. This is the personal service and customer satisfaction you can expect when you hire me.
My Promise to You
If you honor me the opportunity to inspect your home, I will deliver to you an honest, unbias and in-depth evaluation of the home based solely on the condition of the home . You will recieve a clear and comprehensive report utilizing my knowledge and experience to inform you on the conditions and components of your home.
